Quenching Thirst of Godess Laxmi - Kanchi Well
This is a well which used by Ramanujacarya to feed Laxmi devi who came as a hunter's wife . Ramanuja was lost in the jungle but was secured by Laxmi and Narayan. Half a away Laxmi was thirsty and she requested some water. Ramanuja fulfilled her thirst 2 times but the the third time both of the disapeared by leaving him in Kanchipuram near by to the Varatharaja perumal temple . That was his home place too.
